The march will go on! as The Million People March 2 continues in which the 2nd part of the large protest of an ongoing series of protests in the Philippines calling for the abolition of the entire Pork Barrel fund happens right in the heart of the business capital in Malati. The MPM 2 is triggered by public anger over the Priority Development Assistance (PDA) Fund scam orchestrated by Napoles along with some senators who are now under imbestigation. Calls circulated through social media thru Facebook and Twitter to conduct a protest on October 04, 2013 at Paseo De Roxas in Makati as well as other cities nationwide and overseas. Some media commentators consider this as the 2nd ever massive rally in the Philippines called and organized mostly through social media networks. And despite President Benigno Aquino III’s statement on Friday about plans to abolish the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF, also known as pork barrel), netizens vowed to push through with the Million People March on Friday at Makati to register their disgust and outrage over the misuse of public funds. “Tuloy pa rin ang MARCHA!!!
